The captivating town of Skopelos is built amphitheater, overlooking the harbor and has been declared as a traditional settlement. Major attractions are Panagitsa Tower, the House-Museum of Pavlos Nirvanas, the Folklore Museum of Skopelos and Asklepion.

 

If you are an incurable romantic person, do not forget to take a ride in a carriage along the harbor. The sea breeze combined with the floodlit promenade, create a fairytale atmosphere!

 

During your stay in Skopelos, you should visit the noble Glossa Village. Traditional houses with small balconies, stone paths and beautiful towers compose an image of indescribable beauty! From Glossa, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular views of Skiathos and Evia Islands. It is also worth visiting the port of Glossa; the beautiful Loutraki; famous for its picturesque taverns with fresh fish. In Loutraki, the ruins of the ancient Selinountas settlement stand.

Beaches 

In Skopelos you will find magnificent beaches and emerald waters. Within walking distance from the town, is the beautiful pebble Stafylos beach. Next to it, there is Velanio, a small beach ideal for those who love solitary places.

On the west side of Skopelos, you will find the popular pebble beach of Panormos. Next to Panormos, there is the natural harbor Blo; one of the most idyllic places on the island. In the west coast of Skopelos, Milia beach unfolds. Tufted pines, white pebbles and turquoise waters create a dreamy scenery! If you stay in Milia until the sun sets, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a sunset like those seen on postcards! Next to Milia, Kastani beach, with beautiful crystal clear waters, unfolds in a green environment.

On the eastern coast of Skopelos there is the beautiful beach of Agios Ioannis, with the homonymous chapel, which dominates the top of the steep cliff. It is worth climbing the stairs to the chapel.

On the north coast of the island, there are two beaches: the sandy beach of Agios Konstantinos and the pebble one of Glysteri. One of the most beautiful beaches of Skopelos is Hovolo beach with tall, white cliffs and turquoise waters which create a scene that is unforgettable!
