Museum Information

The Archaeological museum of Thassos displays findings of the wider area of the island, the earliest of which date back from the Bronze Age. An impressive, archaic Kouros statue, 3.50 meters tall, is one of the exhibits, which will definitely “take your breath away”.

Full admission: 2€, Reduced admission: 1€

Tickets are only available at the ticket offices.

 


 

Visiting hours

November 1st to March 31st

Tuesday to Sunday: 8:00 to 15:00 (last entry at: 14:30)

Monday: Closed

 

April 1st to October 31st

Tuesday to Sunday: 8:00 to 20:00 (last entry at: 19:30)

The archaeological site of Thasos is open from 08:00-18:30 The ancient theatre is closed due to reconstruction.

The Archaeological Museum of Thassos is located close to the center of Limenas.
