Museum Information

Kalymnos Archaeological Museum is housed in, the Kalymnian sponge-merchant, Vouvalis’ mansion and includes exhibits from the Prehistoric till the post-Byzantine period, presenting the history of the island throughout the ages.




Full admission: 3€, Reduced admission: 2€
Tickets are only available at the ticket offices.

Monday: Closed


November 1st - March 31st
Closed. (It operates upon request to the KB’ Tax office of Rhodes)




The Archaeological Museum is located in the area Pothia, at the main port of Kalymnos.
